Im planning to buy the following pc (for gaming) and I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Looks OK to me, although many would prolly suggest you go for a s939 system for future upgradability. In any case, this will serve as bump for you to get more opinions.

Well if you're ona budget there is nothing wrong going Socket 754. The price difference is a couple hundred dollars and taking look at benchmarks the difference is neglible. With the new Windows 64 bit edition you can do a lot without all the upgrading.

For the hard drive I see you got a seagate, you can probably find a nice deal @ Outpost and get a 200 gig-er. I'm running 4 and they're beautiful. You can find them around 59.99-79.99.

Once again this is coming out of a poor college student's mouth, but if you can spare the money go for the 939 and what not, then GO FOR IT. This is just personal preference.
