Need help with XP & built-in burner software

Ok here's the deal, when i try to delete files that i've writen to a cd-rw with XP's built-in software it's not allowing me to delete them, it say i have to erase the Cd. How can i get around this. I'm using Win XP pro. Thanks

I know this isn't any help but I had such a hard time with that stupid built-in software I finally gave up on it and used ECDC 5.01 which came with my Plextor.

The built-in software with XP is not true packet writing software (ie: DirectCD or InCD)...which probably explains why you're having problems with a CD-RW disc.

I recommend using commercial software and forgetting about XP's burning capability.
