Need help with win7 bootmgr

I currently have a Vista desktop. I'm going to install win7 on an SSD. I'm going to make the SSD the new default boot drive in the bios as the old vista sata drive will eventually go away. My question is, after I install win7, how do I make the boot loader give me the option to load Vista, and will Vista have any problems with what I did?

Thank you for any help given.

if you just add the ssd and install windows 7, the installer will see the vista partition and add it to the boot menu automatically.

What I would do is unhook all drive and install win7 first. once that is done then you can hook up the vista drive and use the motherboard boot menu option to boot between the two. (asus for example is f8)

This way when you go to delete vista, you don't have to worry about the win7 boot menu
