Need help with Win2k pro !!

just finish setting up a dual boot for my pc (C: 98se/ D:win2k pro).....
win2k pro seems to be running a bit lag...and i have trouble trying to update the nvidia drivers...the driver date shows the same old one after i install the 12.41 nvidia drivers...and also...if there's any update i should get for win 2k except SP2? i had problem with norton anti virus 2002 as well, it made the whole OS lag even worst...
i'm using the default 336 drivers for my modem as it doesnt have win2k drivers ....unable to turn off the dialing tone while trying to dial up...
oh...and how do i remove the admin login ? i thought everything is going to be in good shape after i get 2k running...🙁

I would recommend IE6 and the high encryption pack from the downloads area. It's not going to speed anything up much, but security is always a good thing. Take a real good look at the security patches in the first link.

Why??? Just use auto-logon in TweakUI. If you set your computer to only have one account, that account would be the same as an Administrator account. It is not wise to use the Administrator account full-time, especially if you're new to W2K.
