Ok, i gave up on getting a pre-built kit and i wanna buy the parts to make my custom water cooler.

Here is the system:

Processor: Qx6700

Video: EVGA 8800 GTX factory overclocked 2000mhz

Motherboard: Asus P5N32 680i

RAM: 2x1gb corsair 1066 or 800mhz

HD: sata 500gb 7200rpm

PSU: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad (Black) EPS12V 750W Continuous @ 40°C (825W Peak) Power Supply - Retail

Case: COOLER MASTER CM Stacker STC-T01
----------------------------------------------------------------

I plan to overclock the CPU to like 3.2 and i need it to have a long life time.

Thanks to everyone that can help me

follow my build on my U2-UFO

Except 1 exception: Your going to dremel out the hole on the bottom of your case larger. And floor mount your radiator like this:

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p73/aigomorla/IMG_0406.jpg

yate loon ds x 3 pull config. It will fit

Cpu block. D-Tek Fusion

Reservoir : your choice in liking. You can use a bay, or a micro res by swiftech. Whatever your bling is. : Just stay away from aluminum. If you see the words aluminum, i dont care if its annodized or not, dont get it.

Pump: goto petrastechshop.com find the DDC+ / Petratech DDC-T01 top

Get everything layed out to 1/2ID barbs.

Then goto mcmaster.com and then search for 5195T76:

That is the generic tygon 2075 tubing. Its known to stay the clearest the longest, and have the best bend rate. Its kinda pricy at 1.69/ft tho. If your thinkn your going to play with your loop, then i would suggest masterkleer at a watercooling vendor at .49 /feet.

Its all in your bling. My UFO project, im gonna use expensive tubing, because i promised myself i wouldnt touch it after completion.

If you need some more info let me know.

Blah this was copied right off your old thread:

Also since you want GPU as well, pick up a MCW60. Or you can use a EK FC8800GTX. If you do, make sure you dont skimp on that pump.

You need the full 18W DDC+ /w Petratop.

Peace.

I dont get it, what "dremel" means? I couldnt find that word in any dictionarys.

And i thought the radiator was supposed to be outside the case? I dont get it...and you didnt say which radiator i get and where i can buy it, could you please explain?

oh man.... you never had work with a cutting tool?

Okey.. plan B.

Your going to go out to radio shack. Ask them for something called a nibbler. It looks like a funy staple gun , sort of, but the tip comes out and bites into the steel to cut it.

You then need to messure how large of a hole you need on your floor so your radiator completely flushes out the bottom like the picture above.

After that, lay your radiator ontop, and then mount 3 fans on top of the radiator.

If you still think this is too hard, then plan C would be for you to contact a external custom watercooling kit builder, and have him make you an external. :\ I dont like the last route, its gonna cost you more then you really need to spend.

Whats the name of the radiator you are suggesting and where can i buy it? Do i have to buy the fans too or they come with the radiators?

thermochill PA120.3

You can buy it at mountmods.com petrastechshop.com jab-tech.com dangerden.com

Those will probably be your best prices.

The pump you'll want to buy at petrastechshop.com they have a combo ddc+ /w petratop.

Thats what you want to get. I highly doubt the radiator will be in stock at petras.

The first way that you suggested to mount the watercooler, where the radiators are inside the case, the pump and reservoir would be inside the case too?

yes.

the picture i gave you has everything internal.

Thats why i love the stacker! You just need to widen the opening at the bottom of your case after you removed that mesh grill.

depends on what size tubing you go with, and if your goign to use a reservoir or not.

If you have no reservoir, then you will need a T connector. If you have a reservoir, but you also want a drain, thats what a T connector does. It works as a drain.

Are you commited to this? you never answered my question. If you are what is your budget? i can point you to custom kits, which have nice parts, and comes all nicely packaged like a kit with an instruction manual.

Im new to water cooling and never did it before, so im gonna look for a professional to put the parts together for me, as i have no experience with this and i find it very difficult to learn because my main language isnt English and there arent any detailed guides teaching how to mount a water cooler in my language.

okey...

so you want names of the current best parts:

Cpu Block: ApogeeGTX, D-Tek Fuzion
GPU Blocks: EK 8800. EK 7900 Swiftech MCW60
Northbridge: DD Maze4 NB blocks
Radiator: Thermochill PA120.3
Pump: IWAKI RD30

ummm... i think thats all you basically need. Reservoirs fit whatever your bling is. There is no definite best.

An external water cooler gives better cooling than internal?

Also, for the internal one you showed me i would have to buy 3 Thermochill PA120.3 right?

not really..

They would almost give the same with internal giving slightly better performance due to less tubing required.

But difference would be like 2-3C at most.

no its 1 radiator that can hold 3 fans.

And if the builder pulls it off right, he would mount it up front or on top.

Its all on your builder.

Let me introduce my external watercooler to everyone .

Do you have a very expensive case that you don't want to have to cut up to fit all the components that a HIGHEND watercooling setup takes, Or maybe you have a SFF pc that is screaming for an overclock, but can't fit the radiator, pump, and tubing in that already cramped case, Or maybe your not comfortable with using the tools that are needed to modify the case with? That is why I make and produce the new WaterKegIII.

The WaterKegIII features a triple 120mm radiator (hence the III in the name) from Swiftech, Drain port, a Laing D5 pump, clear reservoir, and CCFL lights are among just some of the features this exclusively HIGH PERFORMANCE external watercooler includes. Installation of this external WaterCooler is VERY simple, all you need to do is drill "2" 1 inch holes in the back of your PCs case for the water tubes to go in and out from, and THATS IT, extremely easy considering the cooling and overclocking potential that this cooler provides. To power the WaterKegIII is as easy as powering any internal PC device. Using the PCI Pass Through Bracket (provided with purchase of cooler) connect the 2 molex power cables (provided as well) from the back of the WaterKegIII to the PCI Pass Through Bracket, thats it.

You can customize your cooler with these options:
1. CASE COLOR
BLACK, SILVER, BRIGHT RED, BROWN, COPPER, DEEP BLUE, DEEP GREEN, GRAY

2. MESH TOP COLOR
BLACK, SILVER, BRIGHT RED, BROWN, COPPER, DEEP BLUE, DEEP GREEN, GRAY

3. CCFL LIGHTS
BLUE, GREEN, RED, UV, WHITE

4. WITH OR WITHOUT D-TEK FuZioN CPU BLOCK.

5. THERMOCHILL PA120.3 RADIATOR (KingKegIII) + 149.00 (LIMITED AVAILABILITY ON THESE RADS, SO CHECK WITH ME FIRST)

All WaterKegs ship with Pentosin coolant additive, 2 molex power cables, 10feet of 1/2 tubing, hex key for drain valve, 2 rubber bushings for PC's case, a couple of zip ties, and quick installation instructions.

For the most part, I make my external WaterKegs on a "build to order" basis, customized from what you tell me out of the options provided. Usual time from start to shipped is around 3-5 "working" days

I have future plans to produce a more basic cooler using a double 120mm radiator called the WaterKegII . For those of you who just want to cool your CPU (single or dual core), and maybe the northbridge, this cooler will be less expensive, and really all you will need. PM me if you want/need one, and I'll start the building process ASAP.

As with any purchase, I will send you pictures along the way showing your cooler coming together (If you want me too )

Please, if you have any questions or concerns, PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as humanly possible

***I CAN NOT GUARANTEE YOUR OVERCLOCKING SUCCESS, AS WE ALL KNOW THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO, I AM ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPROPER HANDLING, AND MISUSE OF THIS COOLER.

Thanks a lot for the info

What temps could i get with that?

And a double loop with 2 radiators would make a big difference?

ROFL... the infamous waterkeg made by a member named newls1 over at xs forums. :]

Yes this is a very nice setup, however, i think newls is in the process of tweeking it some more. Thats why it was pulled off his f/s forum over at XS. I could be wrong tho.

If you get this, make sure you request newls to throw in some quick disconnects. They will help you a lot when transporting.

And i cant tell you a aprox temp without knowing your blocks you have, the voltage settings your running, and ambient temps.

as aigo mentioned... it's a matter of the waterblock you get.

will 2 rad's make a difference? sure! but will it make a big noticeable one?

probably not unless you're dumping a lot of heat into your water loop.

i don't see a lot of people using dual rads especially those that already have a thermochill pa120.3.
