Need help with this maths problem.

Ok, So I graduated from my school this march. But couldn't make into any reputable university. You see, here in India, universities conduct entrances in the month of April and may every year for undergraduate courses. I did get into some universities but....Those are not the ones I prefer.So I dropped off a year and planning to give my entrances again next year.

So there is no way this can be a homework problem, cause I'm not in school any more.But still have been practicing integral calculus.(don't know anything about calculus 1,2,3,...., we don't follow such numbering systems.)

So here goes !!

Integral of (cosec x)(cot x )^2.

its a indefinite integral !!

I know the answer but I wanna know how to arrive at it.

No wise cracks please.. or any racist attacks or anything I MEAN ANYTHING ABOUT MY LANGUAGE. cause I'm in sort of depression and not in the mood for any personal comments cause I will start crying.

You need help with your maths problem? Well, if the concept of plurality is foreign to you, that may give us a clue as to why teh mathses is hard for j0o :Q

If you're that emotionally unstable, perhaps you should take a break from maths for a while. Take a walk through a park, relax, have a beer, smoke a doob, whatever you need to do to step back and look at the situation. You're not in school. Nobody's going to beat you over the head with a ruler if you get the answer wrong or can't figure it out before class is over. Take a biiiiiiiiiig deap breath, let it out slowly, and work through your problem step by step.

There are countless google results for free online calculus tutoring, and I promise you they won't make fun of your maths.

It's a trickier integral than most of the plain trig integrals. If you look to see how secx tan^2 x is integrated, you should be able to handle it.

Now I realised that I could use reduction formulas ...

and the answer given in my textbook is 1/2logcotx/2 -1/2cosecx.cotx
