Need help with the original unreal.

Since U2 is coming out next month I thought I would try and finish off the first one. I was almost done with it when I got a new PC and now since I had to reload it I was wondering if there was a way to jump to a certain level. I was at level 33. mothership core. Can I jump strait to that level and also pick me up the weapons as well. There must be a way in the console to do it ,right?

BTW, how do you open the console. )

Cheat mode:
Press [Tab] or ~ to display the console window. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. If Tab or ~ doesn't work, you may need to enable the console in the advanced options.

Effect Code:
Full ammo for current weapon - allammo
Full ammo for all weapons in inventory - allammo 999
Flight mode - fly
No clipping mode - ghost
Disable flight and no clipping modes - walk
Invincibility for current level - god
Add weapon or item to the world1* (see below) - summon <item name>
Toggle time - playersonly
Jump to indicated map - open <map name>
Third person view - behindview 1
Normal view - behindview 0
Set game speed - slomo <number>
Kill monsters - killspawns
Kill all of indicated enemy type - killall <enemy name>
Invisibility - invisible
Reset graphics and textures - flush

1. Set <item name> according to the following list.
2. Set <map name> according to the following list.
3. Set <number> to 1.0 for normal speed.

I have no idea which map is the mothership core you are requesting...maybe one of the Isvdeck/IsvKran maps? Please note the above maps are in alphabetical order, and not the order you play them.

Once you have found the right map, use "summon eightball" to get the eightball for example.

That helps a great deal. On the Old unreal page it calls it mothership core so it might be "extreme core". I'll find out i guess. Thanks for the help.

Great game, I've finished it eight times.

Don't forget to visit OldUnreal and install the newest 2.1.0.6 OpenGL renderer for a better framerate and better visuals. With that renderer the game runs like a dream at 1792 x 1344 x 32 with 16x anisotropic on my system.

Gotta try this this renderer Think I'm gunna revive Unreal too..

My CD is scratched to hell, and I can't install this And I would have really liked to try out that OGL renderer as well, and really pump up the eye candy

THAT is why copy protection sucks. My Diablo 2 CD is heading that direction and I can't make a backup of it.

To make matters worse they published UT2003 without a jewel case...just paper sleeves.

I only have two levels to go and I'm done with Unreal , then it's on to Na Pali. This is such a sweet game. I got it (Unreal Gold) for 7.99 last year.

Just finished installing it with the latest OpenGL drivers and S3TC textures from the UT CD2. Currently running at 1024x768x32 @ 120+ FPS....awesome!

Even after 4 years, the Skaar (spelling??) are still damn hard to hit.

Ahh....the memories....I still remember my first system I built from scratch:

AMD K6-2 350mhz
128mb PC100
16mb Voodoo Banshee

Unreal was one of the first games that got installed on it. Also, I played Unreal and HL for the first time within a month of each other. That was 30 days of gaming goodness....

You can play any map in Unreal by going to the maps folder in the installation directory and just double clicking on the map.
I don't have the game installed on my computer to test this, but it is what I remember.
