Looking for a double gang wall plate with the quick connectors that will hold 5 speaker (total of 10 wires) and an S-video. I've been searching relentlessly and can't find it. ANyone know if something like this exists?

I wired up my whole house and used Leviton plates and connectors. They have so much stuff, I'm sure they must have something that fits your bill.

Whatever you do, don't buy the pushbutton 2 speaker wall plates that home depot sells, I got a pair of those and they turned out to be utter crap.

For half my stuff, I ended up just getting plain white wallplates, and then taking a round file and filing out a channel so that I can run the wire out the side.

Home Depot carries a fair amount of Leviton stuff, including good quality screw-on speaker connectors. However, for everything I wanted, including s-video connectos and cat6 stuff, I ordered through a local electrical shop.

I used Leviton plates with the quick connectors on my network and it turned out pretty good. I just can't seem to find a double plate that will hold the things I need.

See the six port one on the left in this picture . If two of thise would go in a double plate that would work, I think. Just don't see the wall plate.

Flot- was that Leviton that you used?

ty kremlar. I'll go by home depot today and see if they have that. if not i will order.

I doubt they'll have it, never seen it there before and I'm pretty familiar with what they carry.

Wondering - how were you planning on running s-video? Are you using the Leviton cat5/s-video punch-down connector?

Good luck!

I plan on running the s-video through the wall plate with one of those quick connect connectors. I hooked it up one day real quick to see if it degredated the signla but it looked OK to me.

Not sure what the Leviton cat5/s-video punch-down connector is but I'll check them out at Home Depot (if they have them).
