I'm looking to put together a good classic rock compilation for a company function and I need a few suggestions. This will also give me a good excuse to buy a few more CDs for my collection.

any suggestions? I'm mainly looking for upbeat type songs (I'll save the ballads for another day)

Try not to use Kashmir, Bohemian Rhaspody or anything you hear on the radio every single day.

Led Zeppelin and Queen is cool to use, but try to dig deeper in the crates.

People will be like "This song rocks, who is it?"
"Led Zeppelin"
"Whoa, really, I've never heard it before."

I'll try to mix it up, I've had tons of requests for Kashmir and B Rhaspody which is why I included those in the post. But it does sound like a good idea to throw in the occasional obscure tune in the mix too.

this would be a good start to a compilation (random order):

queen - fat bottomed girls
david bowie - ziggy stardust
steppenwolf - magic carpet
acdc - you shook me all night long
zeppelin - when the levee breaks
beatles - helter skelter
hendrix - purple haze
ted nugent - stranglehold
steve miller - fly like an eagle
queen - another one bites the dust
zeppelin - the ocean
rolling stones - gimmie shelter
