Need help with splitting an .iso file

I have a large .iso file that I need to split to be able to burn it on cd-r's. It's 3.7Gb. What program could I use to split this file up, burn them on cd-r's, and be able to install it? I've already burned it to dvd-r but need to split it up for cd-r. TIA

btw, i know there are iso splitting programs out there. is this what I need? any recommendations on a good program?

could always use winrar or winace or something similar to split the large file, but I don't know of anything that will let you span an image across multiple cdrs and be able to install that way.

hmmm, thanks anyway for the reply. Yeah, don't know if I will have much like with this either. Sort of the way games are on multiple cd's, and upon installation it asks you for cd2....that's kind of what I"m looking for. Or, at least get the setup going on the first cd and then it'll ask me to locate x files, I can just pop in the next cd's....I"m guessing with a 3.7Gb files, I'll need around 6 cd's eh?

I believe you are correct. I've already burned it onto a dvd. Let me ask you this. Anyway to get a regular cd rom to read from a dvd disc that has a cd image burnt to it? This is a cd image burnt onto a dvd disc so I would've thought that a regular cd rom would've read it since its a cd image but I guess not.

cd drives don't have the proper laser to read DVD. even if the dvd contains a cd image.
