Need help with smp Folding@Home Client

Hi everyone, I've been running the GPU client of folding@home and I feel as though it's time to move onto the multicore smp client. I downloaded and installed both the original install file as well as the binaries. I read the included readme and it instructed me to click on the install icon in program files. When I do this it asks me for my password, then I type in my provided password that was emailed to me and it says: "password encrypted into the registry." Then it says: "unable to connect to Home-PC:8676',
sock error:generic socket failure, error stack:
MPIDU_Sock_post_connect

Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

What was emailed to you was a "Passkey", (which is used to prove that the WU was crunched by you).

When it asks for a password you need to supply the password you use to log-on to your computer.
