Hi again folks,

I need some help here with setting my RAM, I have played a bit around in the bios but I am not sure enough to go any further. Ok here goes,

I bought 4 x 2 gig of G skill memory, they are DDR-2 1000 and timing are 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1 V. They are installed and presently running, I haven't mem http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mem test them yet. In the bios I left the RAM control to auto and the timing matches. I have increased the RAM voltage by + 0.2 so it matches the specs.

When running CPU-Z it recognizes everything but says that I am running DDR-2 6400 memory modules which would corresponds to DDR2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2_SDRAM -800. What are the settings I should be playing with in order to get this running at DDR2-1000 while being at peak efficiency.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Specs are in sig.

Well with the way Gigabyte designates FSB:RAM ratios, you'll want to look for the 3.00 RAM multiplier I believe.

333 (Your FSB) x 3.00 = 999, effectively DDR2-1000.
