Need help with Seti..

I just started using the CMD version of Seti since I found it to be about an hour to 2 hours faster than the GUI version, but I was wondering if there's a way to minimize the DOS window to the taskbar. I don't want my dad to screw things up when I'm at school or anything. Also, would putting it to the startup work? And if does, like the question before, can it to added to the taskbar? Thanks in advance.

Well you can make the shortcut start minimized, it's in the preferences for the shortcut, unless your running Win2K or NT then I have a WAY better solution 🙂

I'm using WinMe. I know about the minimize but my dad would probably mess with it then if it was minimized and not put in the taskbar..

Adding /h to the command line will totally hide the client ,though I haven't figured out how to view it should you need to!😱

OK, OB, I'm running win2k and staring at both my cli client and SetiQ in my taskbar - is there a way to get them to be little icons in the tray instead? My seti spy's and gui client are already there-------thanks

I tried to hide the command line client with seti spy and it wouldn't do it for some reason. Seti Driver hides the client as well and lets you cache work units. I believe there's an option to hide seti driver as well.

You could always use the /h, I have no idea how to unhide the client either when doing this. I read it somewhere but don't remember.

There are lots of little programs out there to stick things in the tray. I use Hide-It, but there are many, many more out there.

Thanks for all the input. I thought that the taskbar was the tray so maybe that confused everyone. I tried Seti Driver and it wouldn't hide it, and SetiSpy wouldn't hide it either. I've tried Hide-It and it works perfectly right now. Thanks again.
