i just format and reinstall a dual boot (98se & win2k), this problem has never happen before i format...
the problem is...when i play mp3 (with sonique) and i open windows explorer (win2k)...there's a buzzing sound in the background...and my mouse lags a bit ...but after explorer is open then everything is back to normal...no buzzing sound...no mouse lag...
and again...i've been using the same dual boot setup for almost 6 months now...this has never happen...
pls help...
 
Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your SBLive. Also make sure that you have DMA enabled for your hard drives.
 
will try the latest driver...but the same driver ran just fine before i format...

Did you look at your volumes? if one of the volumes is cranked it would cause a buzzing sound.. It's not a very technical response, but that would be the first thing I checked.
