Need help with SAN information

Somebody told me that these people Link are the best in the business when it comes to setting up a SAN. Anybody know if there are better sources out there? Also, since I am not a network expert, are the current solutions with Storage Area Networks at the cutting edge of network storage or are there better technologies out there? Any information would be appreciated...
 
cisco, brocade and mcdata rule the SAN world. I'd look into them.

With EMC and HP/Dell playing front runner for the storage.
