Need help with rules to an obscure card game, that probablly not everyone has heard of.

I can vaugely remember this card game my family used to play. A family member from New jersey introduced us to it. She called it "May I", I did a search of the net and could not find any info on this, so its possible it may be known by a differant name. The game play similar to rummy/gin rummy. From what i remember you have to hold the cards in your hand and to start you need to get like 2 sets(2 sets of 3 of the same numbered cards, like 3 4's, or 3 kings). Then you have to have 1 set and 1 run(a straight flush basically of at least 4 cards). Then like 3 sets, then like 3 sets and a run and it keeps getting harder.

It's called Gripe (if it's the same game)...I take that back, we called it Gripe.

The first hand is two sets, then the second hand is a run of 4 and a set, and then the third hand is 2 sets of 4 (2 wild and 2 natural)...let me see if I can find the rules to the rest of the hand.

That sounds like Bunko. I've never played, but my dad and his wife used to.

Yeah Lord jezzo found the info, I had actually found it myself as well. But I just went to that site looking for it, I could not get it to come up in a search, not sure why, thanks for the help though.
