Can anyone get this????

I own two time pieces. They both serve a special purpose, for one has the least number of parts, while at the same time the other time piece has the most number of parts. Name these two....

I was thinking of a sundial and an hour glass maby????

"US Naval Observatory's Master Clock" - i have no idea what this is! 🙂

Its basically a super-sonic-ULTRA-technological-fancy-smancy ATOMIC clock based on the vibrations and perturbations of the electron circling the atom.

Thanks Bleeb, Anyone else like to challege his answer? 😀
I challenge it on the basis that his answer doesn't really make it a riddle, it makes it a stupid trivia question (ie What are the two time pieces where one has the fewest parts and the other has the most parts?). Riddles are supposed to be tricky/confusing/mind racking, not dumb trivia questions. For example:

What two US currency coins make up 30 cents and one of them is not a nickel?

or

It is greater than God. It is more evil than the devil. If you eat it you die. Rich people don?t have it. Poor people have it. What is it?

= Nothing

I see your point, but no one else has an answer... 🙁

A man is found dead in a feild with a package. On the way to the field the man opened the package then knew straight away he was going to die. Why?

You can find us in darkness but never in light.
We are present in daytime but absent at night.

The letter 'a'?

The letter 'a'?

Since it says us, I'd guess the letters 'a' and 'd'.

As for the OP, I'd say a sundial and a watch. The sundial has the least number of pieces and the watch has the most, of his time pieces.
