Here's how my resume looks, it's going to be for MBNA. Any words I should change or take out? It's of course better formatted in the word document. Any better ways to say help desk? And should I really put that I am expecting to have my MCSA in June? Thanks

you definity need more then that.
like activites you are involved in, any previous work experience, any awards, any volunteering, anything else that sounds good basically.
try to get it to be a little less then a page.

I have no previous work experience, my awards are all basically school related so it might not mean much, and I'm basically not involved with anything(I will be in the future though...)

I think the only "award" I can put is top scores in the state for DSTP testing(it's Delaware's standardized test). Should I put that I know how to use Office, IE, and Outlook? Seem like everyone else can do that too though.

desktop analysis is a fancy name for the people at our helpdesk. ( they only troubleshoot first level desktop issues)

MCSA expected in JUNE?!?!?! since you have did 2 cores already, it shouldn't be a problem to do 70-217 next week and then 70-218 the week after. The certs are so easy it is a joke.

i not the fastest learner out there, but i got my MCSA & MCSE from start to finish in 2 months.

edit: oh you have a+, then you only need 70-218 for MCSA, so take it next week then... and might as well get your MCSE when you get hired. have the company pay for your tests.

I'd say yes, especially if you're good at using them, but only put in one or at most two sentences, something like:

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook <---- only list the ones you know well!

-or maybe-

Familiar with standard applications software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express.

(Or perhaps even "Fluent in" if you know them well enough to offer support to others)

Experience: did you do any computer-related tutoring or lab assistance in HS?

even better... being verbose, combine dave's both line to one

Familiar with standard Microsoft Office software applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook

you don't have a lot of experience so you need to find more words to fill up one page.

dbzwukan, yea they are some easy tests. My school pays for them if I pass(I pay if I fail :() I'm taking Network Infrastructure at then end of April and then doing an "acclerated"(a.k.a. totally braindumping it...) MCSA after that. I have one of those vouchers from Citrix so I might be a CCA too.(taking this just to get the 3 letters, looks like a Cisco cert....;))

I'll do some editing and see if I can fill up the page.

CCNA was harder for me when i took it.

braindump? what's that? ;)

there's a movement to discredit people who use them... but don't know how they're going to do that.

Salary is good question. Probably $8-12 would be my guess but maybe lower because of limited job experience.

I'm not really expecting that much, just that I would like to have some real job experience. Should the amount I put down be minium wage or something higher then that? Should I put down more then I want or basically what I want?
