I've been debating between THIS and THIS

The 2nd has the lowest lats that i've ever seen in DDR2 and isn't that bad of a price, only $20 or so more than my first choice.

This'll be my first time using G.Skill, thought i'd give them a try for my new X2 build. I won't be o/c'ing too much if at all most likely. I just want this thing to run smooth as possible. Any help/suggestions is appreciated.
 
I would go for the less expensive of the two if you're not going to OC. The more expensive one has some lower stock latencies and will likely OC more. Take the $20 and put it into a better PSU or CPU cooler.
 
Well, i may o/c a bit, but not too much. I just want the best for gaming. I'll have them on an Asus M2N32-SLI w/ an X2 6000+ and a Scythe Ninja attached. ^_^

Running w/ an OCZ 600w psu and a 7600GT KO (for now).
 
At those prices, I'd spring for the slightly more expensive model with the lower latency potential -- whether or not you intend to over-clock.
