Need help with ram choice for ocing...

Well I kinda have pc4000 geil in the rig I just bought on here but it's 4 sticks of 256megs and the lanparty mobo only fits 3. So idk what to do; someone offered to trade me for 2 hyperx 512mb sticks pc4000 to trade for it...so idk I need to do something to replace these. I can sell them for roughly $170 so idk if I should rebuy the same thing off the egg or what...input is appreciated.

What kind of ram should I look for? I've noticed that pretty high performance ram goes for pretty cheap on here and . Would 2 sticks of 512megs pc3200 patriot xls (or w/e it is) be better with ocing than the hyperx or other pc4000+ ram?

Go ahead and do that trade since that guy has 2x512MB PC4000. I doubt you'll be able to find that kind of RAM for $170. If you buy new, I'd get some cheaper value RAM.

Which would you pick? I can sell my 4x256mb for $180 shipped already have people lined up so let's say like $165 after paypal fees and shipping...Let me know what you guys think or whether you think the hyperx would be a better deal.
