I just got a Radeon VE. It has installed fine with the CD driver. No problems at all.

However when I try and install the latest driver, I get the following message:

'This display driver is not suitable for the display adapter(s) in your system'

I have made sure that:

- It IS a Radeon VE.
- I have downloaded the correct drivers (Win 2000, Radeon VE)

Can anyone give me a hand?

However, shown in Display Prperties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Adapter window:

Chip Type: ATI RV100 (this is correct)
Internal DAC 350mhz (Should be 300 mhz according to Anands review
64mb SDR (Should be 32, DDR?)

It seems as thought I have some sort of hybrid card... Anyone got any idea?

OK some more clues I have found.

The card appears as a 'Radeon SDR' in all system logs. When choosing a card to run Max Payne - 'Radeon SDR', it is shown as 'Radeon SDR' in display properties too...

:Q:confused::confused::(

Need help.

There are no clues at the Rage3d site, and no one has answered my plea at the Rage3d forums!

ATi Tech support's best responce was: Make sure you have the correct driver! :(

I DO have the correct driver :(

Any ideas anyone?
