When my computer boots up all is fine, windows starts to load and just after the initial load screen finishes, my monitor goes into "sleep mode". I tried two different monitors and have ruled that out. I noticed the fan isn't spinning on my video card, but if it was the card would i have any video at all?
 
My computer does this every now and then and I just keep on restarting and it finally works. But if you can't get it to stop, and you noticed the fan on your video card isn't working, I'd say it's your video card.
