Need help with outlook, please read

I have both a laptop and a desktop that I use extensively. I would really love to have both outlook installed on the laptop and the one installed on my desktop to have synchronized data(inbox, calendar, and contacts). I hate having to turn the laptop on when I'm already on my desktop just to check mail. This is my personal email, it's not related to work. I do rely heavily on my email for school and work though. Is there anyways I can download my email on my desktop and still be able to download the same email on my laptop, I would like to keep both my contacts and calenders the same also. Is this a feature that is available, and I am able to do? I appologize for my ignorance on this matter, but any help on this is greatly appreciated
