Need help with networking computers with dsl

I need to network 8 computers and have them access the internet with dsl. How should I have it set up?
It is verizon dsl and they don't assist in support with networking with routers.

Here's what I have to work with:

16 port hub
4 port linksys cable/dsl router
Fujutsi Dsl modem
1 static ip

1 win2k pro Server
The rest of the computers are either running Windows ME or Win2k.

So far that I have done is:
-all the computers plugged in the 16 port hub
-dsl modem to the wan port of the linksys router
-the uplink of the router to the 16 port hub.
-all computers set to dynamicly assign IP
-i got into the router setup through http and entered the values domain, ip, gateway, dsn... etc (not sure if I did correctly, but entered all the info that was provided by the isp)

I understand the router by default has the dhcp enabled so I left it at that.

I still can't get any of the computers to browse the web.

Is there anything I am missing or done incorrectly? I am pretty sure the dsl is working currently, I tested it with one computer directly plugged to the modem.

Using Verizon eh?

There are only a couple of things you need to set up on the router for Verizon. First and foremost, username and password. Make sure pppoe is checked, and check off connect on demand and keep alive. Then click on apply.

Set the router to obtain ip automaticaly (unless verizon gave you static, but I think they only do that for the most expensive package). Click apply.

You're set. Don't need host name or domain name.

First, plug one computer directly to the DSL Modem. Install Verizon Software. During the installation process it will show you an ID number, and Password, write them down.

When every thing is working from one computer, and you can use the internet turn off, plug the computer to the Router, plug the DSL modem to the WAN port, and do what flippinfleck wrote.

When it works through the Router, you can uninstall Verizon software.

I called them and they aren't using pppoe or any username or password, also there wasn't any software and I called them about that and they said we didn't need it. I did get one computer going on the intetnet but it was directly connected to the DSL modem. But still no luck with getting the rest to go online.

If your DSL modem goes directly to the Computer?s NIC, and there is no Software or special installation on your computer.

Try to set your Router as though you have a cable service, and Clone your MAC to the Router.
