I just came back from compusa with a new mp3 player the sony walkman (a.k.a.) 1gb network walkman Flash memory NW-E507

so anyway, when I'm trying to do a transfer it stops right after it begins to transfer and then tells me that it can't covert due to it being a 'protected Song" wtf???

could someone help me with this? man-o-man am I ever pissed off at how frigg'n complicated this is. I should have bought the usb-2 Mp3 player , the type where you just drag n drop into your new mp3 drive, but noooo I went with this one.

Regards,
CA

Welcome to the wonderful world of DRM (Digital Rights Management). Probably programmed not to download anything it thinks might be copy protected.

I'd recommend ANYTHING but Sony. Take it back. I like the Samsung MP3 players.
