need help with my new kvm switch....mouse driver issue

I have a new belkin 4port vm switch and I also have a logitech dual optic mouse. When I switch over from xp to linux, mouse behaves normally. Now, when i go from linux to xp, the f$%$#ing mouse pisses me off! It goes crazy for about 10 seconds and then stops. ITs a driver issue because when i unistalled the mouse driver and let xp pick one, it still did it, but it was a lot less frantic. It only scrolls up and down for a bit and then goes normal, not like before where all of a sudden I was rearranging my desktop and throwing things in the trash folder, stupid mouse driver. So if anyone could recommend a driver that would not cause any of this to happen that would be great...thankyou!
