NEED HELP WITH MY GIGABYTE WPKG PCI CARD

ok so i have the Gigabyte WPKG PCI WIFI card and it works awesome for downloading and surfing the net, but the only Multiplayer game i have BF2 doesnt work so well with it. About every minute, i get a hickup that says "there is a problem with your connection" and then it quickly goes away but of course i drop like a few packets in the process and its impossible to play like this. A while back i solved the problem by installing different drivers, but this time around the drivers dont change anything, and ive tried every set. Is there some setting that i can change to fix this? HELP!!!!!!

A shot in the dark here, but maybe your networking channel is crowded. Use something like netstumbler to see if there are any nearby AP's that are interfering with your network. Use netstumbler to see what channels those other APs are on.
Try to be at least 2 channels away. Best channels are usually 1,6,& 11. Even nearby channels can cause interference, if you are on 6 and another is on 5 this could cause some interference.
