before you RMA it... try reseating the motherboard.
Check to see if any of your standoffs aren't in right.
You may be causing a short with the back of the board.
Don't screw the motherboad down too hard.

Good suggestion RedHouse18.....a simular post was made on the previous page I do believe. See, the tower is actually acrylic....but what I did was take the side panel off, set it on the table, with a couple packs of cigs under it to elevate it. Then, I unbolted the motherboard and set it on top of the panel and ran it that way, with NO mounts....same results.

The power supply is DEFINITELY shot. I don't know what I'm going to do about that. I wish I could find a good quality one for a cheap price, but that's not going to happen. My luck has been REAL bad lately. This puter was a build for my Brother.....and its just getting frustrating. He has NO more $ to spend.....and I already put as much $ as I can into it for him. This PC needs about 550 watts to operate efficiently...with all the lighting and such. It was SUPPOSED to be partially a birthday present....but looks like that's not going to happen. :(

A new power supply of that level is going to run more than what I have, wich is $0.00. I'm going to go to the FOR SALE/TRADE thread and put my current video card up there in trade for a decent, name brand power supply. Nothing major...as my video card isn't THAT gravy....but it is decent. I have a GeForce FX5200 128MB 8x. I've got a fan on it and it runs GREAT. It'll be worth it to me to get his system up and running.....I just won't be around fer a while, until I can get another vid card.

1) if you can get into bios screen raise DDR to 2.8 Vdimm.

2) raise vcore to 1.5

Board maybe undervolting.

if that don't work get rid of that board ASAP and get gigabyte Abit or MSI. Demand newegg do it or charge back. look here this dude 2xhttp://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=724372&posted=1#post724372

also I find lots of similair issues with this DFI.. I don't recommend anymore until we get good passing grade here with many satisfied users. To much negative vibes and reads right now to recommend DFI NF4.

My only suggestion is to take out your CPU and look at the pins to make sure that they aren't bent. I built a system and went through the same frustrating thing, and it turned out to be the CPU. Good luck.
