When I do a search anywhere, like amazon, etc. I get the list of search results. If I click on one, that's fine. But when I click back to return to the list of search results, I get text that says:

Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button.

So I hit refresh and then it says the page canot be refreshed without resending the info, so I have to click RETRY.

It didn't use to be that way before a reinstall last month (after I got a new motherboard). What setting do I need to adjust? Running Winxp pro all updates except 5 security updates in the past month.

Thanks

Try going to the Temporary internet files settings in the Internet Properties. Change the "Check for newer versions of pages:" setting to never or every time you start Internet Explorer.

Change it to "Never". IE can't show the page again beacause it's simply not there anymore. Those are dinamically generated pages, not actual HTML pages.
