I just bought the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard along with a Athlon 64 3000 939 Winnie.

So I setup my rig and everything seems to be a okay and I go to power it up. My system does powerup, but then I see absolutely nothing! All I see is a blank screen and I can't even make it to the BIOS settings. I look at my monitor to see if its on and I see that its in sleep mode waiting to receive a signal.

Also, I don't hear my hard drive booting like it usually does on startup. I just hear it powerup and that's it, no loading whatsoever. And I hear no beep that tells you that you've made it to the BIOS and memory testing screen, that I'm use to seeing.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

My rig:

Athlon 64 3000 /939 Winnie
Zalman CNPS7000-ALCu
ATI 9800 Pro
Maxtor 120GB harddrive
Samsung RAM (I think) 1 GB PC2100 bus speed
Soundblaster Audigy 2
Enermax 550W powersupply

Do you have the D-Bracket hooked up, to see what the POST Diagnostics are hanging? I'm going to bet that your system is having problems with the PC2100 ram. Try clearing the cmos and see if you can get to the POST screen.

Is that 1 stick of 1024MBs of ram or 2x512? If its 2x512 only insert one until everything is up and running and then insert the second. I had this exact same problem when i first got my neo2.

And 2100? is that right? maybe your athlon64 is angry at you for choking it to death! :p
