I'm building a pc for the first time and I'm having a problem with the motherboard posting. Its a p4s333/p4 1.6a. I connected the power supply and it turns on but thats it, I hear no beeping or see no picture on my monitor. I'm lost 🙁

Yes I did connect that. I also connected the power led, speaker connector, reset sw, atx power switch. All the fans seem to be working and when I plug my monitor to the video card the "signal lost" message disappears. The only problem is that the screen is blank.

Does your video card support 4x . Some video cards wont work on the new motherboards for pentium4.
Not sure about sis. If thats not it then make sure your cards and cables are pushed all the way in, starting with the video card. Turn the computer off when working inside, or outside, unless its usb.

usually it's the simple stuff, remove the vid card and reinsert it a couple times to make sure its all the way in, if it has the little lock to hold the card in somethimes they can hold the back up a bit when you install them.
