need help with memory

i have a celeron system that uses pc100 sdram. ( hp pavilion 7915)

will ECC SDRAM work simultanously with non-ecc memory?

I don't think it will.
The ECC uses an extra bit [to make 9] to confirm the correct information has been sent - hence, ERROR CORRECTION
