Need help with Leadtek TV2000XP

Just installed this card in XP with the latest Leadtek drivers. Using DScaler the picture looks fine, but when I use the Leadtek PVR software or Virtualdub I get these nasty red/blue/green scrolling bars (looks like Macrovision). I am trying to record some cable programs. Does anyone know how to get rid of these, or what software can record and look as good as DScaler? Thanks

Oh, and a second question - how do I get rid of the pops when switching channels with Dscaler? Thx
