Need help with KT7 and sony floppy

No matter what i try i can not get the sony floppy to work with my KT7, i either get always green light(which i know that the cable is backwards) and when i switch it, i get no light but still doesn't work. Any ideas? I've tried on two KT7 and two sony floppies and used different cables...with no luck. Don't really need the floppy but always nice to have just in case you have a network driver on a disk(learned the hard way on this one).

How are you switching the floppy cable, at the mobo end because the Sony has the connector keyed ?? If so this will not work. The cable must be switched at the floppy end, use the last connector on the cable. You will probably have to cut the plastic key off the cable.
