I just bought all the parts I need for my HTPC and I'm having some problems getting this to look good on the TV. I had the computer connected via S-Video but, as we all know, that looked like crap. I borrowed the DVI cable from my main rig and connected it to the TV. Now, I have a picture and it looks a little better than the S-Video, I expected it to look much better.
The problem is that when I start playing around with the resolutions and stuff, weird things happen. For example, the screen is cutoff. As I type this, I cant really see the task bar. I've downloaded Powerstrip but all that stuff is cryptic. I was up for hours last night trying to get this thing going and I'm out of ideas.
Does anyone here have the same or similar setup? Or if you dont, could you give a clue as to what I can do next? I've yet to find any good tutorials or guides on this subject.
