Need help with google toobar.

I am trying to use google's toolbar but everytime I re-open IE it defaults to my old toolbar, any suggestions?

what old toolbar? Is it some spyware toolbar? Uninstall the other one. It probably sucks anyway.

How do I tell?

I thought it was the standard IE toolbar.

put a check next to:

standard
address bar
google

>>file
>>close

open IE and voila

I tried that and when I re-open IE "search toolbar" is checked and google is unchecked.

I'm not sure what standard toolbar you're talking about. Can you screenshot your browser and post a link?
