Need help with GA VRXP

I've got a buddy trying to get RAID to work. Is there a trick to getting to the FAST TRACK 100 Lite Bios and the FASTBUILD Utility?

Upon bootup, all I get is a flashing cursor. Promise controller finds the hard drives and then goes to this cursor. Don't know what to do next.

Appreciate any help.
 
Are you sure he is using the raid function in the bios. This also runs as standard ata 133 ide controller. You have to specify in the bios which one you want to use. If he has it set for raid, the upon booting, the fastrack will go through its setup and you push control-f to get into the fastrack utility to set up the raid drives. Hope this helps.

PJ : i got the bios set right now I have a HD problem its not finding one of the HDs it tells me offline any idea's what it is could it be a bad HD Im so close ,Thank's RD😕
 
Ive done that and it see it I have fdisk it and format the drive it seems to be ok but it dont work in the raid config I dont get it . Thanks again RD
