Need help with Excel...

I was given an existing Excel spreadsheet. At the top of each column, in row 1, each cell has an arrow next to the text which makes it into a drop-down menu, as well, with each possible value listed in it's respective column. I have been trying to figure out to duplicate this effect on my own, to no avail. If anyone has any insight into this, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.
