I'm trying to get my car fixed up. I can't be talked out of this either. I've been after this car since I was little, and I finally got it to fix up. Bought it from an owner who before me, had it, but it sat for about 20 plus years, until a few years before I came along, which was the last time it was running. They got busy, and I guess couldn't find time to finish it. Every person I've asked that does Classics says the same thing, that the engine is frozen. Now, I've already took all the spark plugs out, and did the oil soak thing. I was told that after I'd done that, I'd have to get the cover off under the car to reach the crank with a flywheel tool, to do it that way before popping a battery in to start it, so it wouldn't mess up the engine. My only problem is I'm unsure of what the cover looks like, and what I need to get it off. Even a pic of it's location on the bottom of the car would help better, but if no pic, I'm still open. I already have the flywheel tool, and new ac Delco filter, and new air filter, motor oil, Trans fluid, marvel mystery oil, starter fluid, seafoam motor treatment, brand new battery tucked away. I just need to know where to go from there. Any help is appreciated. I want to try to spend as little as I can, though I know I'll be spending a nice amount. Worth it to me. Whatever else I can't do, I'll just take it to the right people to do. I just want to do what I can to not have to put a lot more out.
