Agreed? The only reason I put the prompt thing was 'cause I put in my rez on thursday, and heard back today!

I would agree with your buddy about making the change to "Thank you for the opportunity to meet with you!" I think it sounds more professional and thankful.

On another note, good luck with getting the job.

i agree with your buddy. thank you fro the prompt response sounds like you're evaluating them or something, which is kind of insulting. also, maybe change "sincerely" to "thanks!"
