Dunno if this is the right forum but oh well, :p
I just got a 19in LCD which I'll be setting dual monitors with the 17in CRT. I'll be using the LCD for everything EXCEPT gaming, the CRT will fulfill that role. I want it so that whenever I start a game it opens up on the CRT instead of the LCD. I want the LCD on primary since I'll be using it 80% of the time and it'll be a drag to have to switch every time I wanna play CSS. So is there a way that can flawlessly execute this procedure? Any programs that can do this? Thanks in advance.

I have a CRT and a projector set up. I'm using a radeon9800pro with the CRT on VGA and the projector on DVI to Component.

I have two profiles that I switch between. The new ATI software allows you to use shortcut keys to switch between profiles.

I have it set up for Alt+z switched to monitor and Alt+x switches to projector. I think you can also set it up so that a program can activate a profile. I haven't tried this, but I think that might be exactly what you want. Like when you start your game, it would tell the display driver to switch to your CRT profile and the LCD would stop getting a signal and the CRT would be the primary display.

EDIT: I just looked at my catalyst control center a little and I think I might have been wrong about a program starting a profile. I know you can make a desktop shortcut to activate a profile though and that would be a pretty convenient way to do what you want to.
