Hi, I recently purchase a raid controller (PERC3/DC) for my 1600SC.
I imediately notice that dell does not have any place to put LED light for my hardisk activity from the raid controller. Then I thought about creating my own led light and maybe drill a little hole in the front of the case.

I did some research in this forum, but most of the information about LED is for those who wants to install a super bright LED light. All I want is the regular led that a normal case have for it power and HDD LED.

Does anyone knows what is the spec of a defaut LED on a regular computer case ??

What is the max spec that a motherboard can handle ??

How about a 64BIT PCI card (DELL PERC3/DC), what would be the best LED spec for this purpose ?

Where can you buy the cable that is best used with LED and especialy where can you buy that little prong that goes into the jumpers where the led should be pluged ??

Thank you so much guys...

Frozen Cpu. LEDs differ, so no one can tell you how many volts a default LED consume. But you should only connect one led to each header on your mobo.
