Need Help with computer's graphics

Hi, the graphics on my computer are really messed up. I got a very poor score (876) on mad onion's 3d mark 2002. In the games I play, the graphics are horrible. The models and textures just dont seem right compared to other screenshots. I fooled around with settings on the display panel for my geforce 2, increasing the amount of memory it uses up etc. but nothing seems to work. Im wondering if anybody has suggestions to what i can do. the specs for my comp are:

pentium 3 1.0 ghz
geforce 2/mx 32 mb
256 mb ram

That's really odd. I've got a comparible system to yours and my 3D Mark scores are in the mid 2000's. I don't play that many 3d games though. I'm not sure what the problem could be... maybe updating your video drivers? Though I've heard a lot of people have had problems with the Detonator XP drivers...
