Need Help with CLI SETI!

It doesn't load on boot up and everytime I turn it on, the files I worked on are gone and it goes back to SETI to grab new WUs. How do I get this to stop?

I'm using 2000 and XP.

I installed both the CLI and SETI drivers. The program keeps putting its files on my desktop so I created a SETI folder but the prog doesn't seem to recognize it. It is very annoying that the prog puts all its files on my desktop. Is there anyway to select which directory to put it in?

I would suggest completely uninstalling everything, then follow the Download & Installation and then First Run Instructions at the SETI Driver website. If you've already done this, or try it and it doesn't work, just post, it'll get figured out in the end 🙂

Its sounds like to me that you put the CLI and setidriver on the desktop. Once you uninstall them as per above instructions make sure that they both end up in your seti folder you created before you start them up.

Before you delete any thing look for some folders that just have numbers for names... like 1 , 2 and copy them. After you reinstall Seti you can move them into the new seti folder before you connect. The completed ones will be there or should be anyway.😉
