I'm getting some problems with my cd-r. It used to work fine, but recently it been giving me problems. I can burn HDD to CD, and music CDs only. When I try to do a CD to CD copy or when I try to burn a .bin file, the CD gets messed up... it doesn't copy completely. This happens every time. I've tried it a couple of times.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Just a few guesses. Check to see if your read ahead of your cdrom is set to zero. Turn autoinsert off. What program are u using? I use clonecd, cdrwin, and ezcd. Some programs burn some cd's better. I dont ever burn from cd to cd. I have alot more luck burning from my hd. Why yours is acting up now and didnt before? Oh also do u defrag much this helps although mostly when burning from hd.

How do I check if my cdrom is set to zero? I used cdrwin before it worked fine, but it doesn't work anymore. I tried many programs but none seem to burn .bin or cd to cd sucessfully.
