I can't play Call of Duty Multiplayer. It always freezes up. I have reinstalled the game and it still doesn't work, any know why? I haven't been able to find a patch just demos to download so I don't know if it's just me. Can anyone help?

Single player game runs and plays great! I'm in the beginning of the Russian Campaign, very tough.

As soon as I click on it. The rectangle box saying Call of Duty comes up and just freezes. So far, I have updated new videocard drivers, reinstalled the game, tried it on safe mode, uninstalled several programs I haven't used in a long time, and have no problems playing Halo, C&C Generals, GTAIII, Vice City, etc... With all settings at max. I can't figure it out, have any suggestions.

Use "Driver Cleaner 2" first to remove all the existing driver files. Then install the latest drivers for your video card...

[edit]

I read the post correctly this time :frown: I would delete the "config_mp.cfg" in your x:\CoD\Main directory and run the game again. It will notice the file has gone and recreate it perhaps with the correct/default settings to run... (Back the file up first though, just to be sure)
