I need to fill out a form which is in acrobat form.
Is there any sort of editor or program I can use to do this with the computer other than printing it out and using a pen?
My handwritting is terrible.

If it is done as a form, Acrobat Reader can do it. The only caveat is you can't save (at least not that I could figure out) so you have to do it all in one shot.

<< print it out, scan it, and use photoshop maybe? >>

There is a freeware or maybe shareware program that will do the conversion directly (ie from PDF to BMP). I'll see if I can find the name...

It does a very good job, more than adequate for importing into PS.

Here you go

Ok, now that I have it in JPG form thanks to Gregg, how do I fill it out?
Are you suggesting use the TEXT feature in Paint?
If I BUY some version of Acrobat will I bea ble to type in it?
Is there such a thing, like Acrobat writer or something?

One additonal question... Can we also do the samething with MS Word? What I mean.. can we make a form on MS Word and have other people fill out in MS Word? Or do we have to do the samething as what Glen is doing right now? Print them out and fill it or covert to jpeg and fill them out???

Yep, that's totally possible. There's a forms toolbar in MS Word that will let you put in the text boxes, check boxes, etc. for the form. And then you can set which boxes you want to be locked, and which ones you want to be able to fill in during the form, and then lock the document, so that only those boxes you marked can be modified. If you want, you can password-protect the form, so that no-one can unlock the document and then change the form fields without knowing the password.

If I had the full software, not just the "reader" part, couldn't I type in it?
One of my friends is bound to have it, so I can run over to there house and use it.
Does anyone know?

what version of reader do you have? forms are only supported in 5. that is if they're forms that are meant to be filled out in pdf format, and not printed out or something.

well you *could*, but if the file was created in version 4, then it's not going to let you fill it out as a pdf anyways, since it wasn't created supporting that.

if you want, email it to me at funkymonkey69@hotmail.com, and i'll see what i can do. i have acrobat 4 (full version)....
