Need help with Acer CDRW

Some of my CD players won't play disks burned in my Acer 6206A CDRW. Disk brand doesn't seem to matter - CDs burned in other drives work OK. The players that don't work are new ones - a Rockford/Fosgate car player, a Sony ES cay player, and a Panasonic discman. Older players play my discs fine. Acer tech support doesn't have a clue.

is it u use the adpated software to burn? my suggestion is try another software to burn, like nero burner

I had one of these burners and I had to update to the latest firmware to keep this from happening. I believe the latest firmware is 1.6a but I am not sure. Burner worked fine after upgrading!!!🙂

I've had this drive a while. It was replaced under warranty in June. The new one has the latest firmware. I also tried Easy CD Creator 4 and Nero with the same results. THe problem didn't show up until I bought some new CD players.

Try better quality CDR's.
I had a whole batch that would never play in car audio.
