Need help with abit-bp6

I'm building a dual cel 366 for a friend..and i can get everything working but the a drive. The light does not go out on it, i tried another a drive and same thing happens. I can get past bios by booting on no errors but other than that i get the standard floppy drive fail....if anyone can help please email me mgoldberg@nyc.rr.com

This is a common problem with floppies. And since you have the problem with 2 separate floppy drives, it's even more probable that your problem is that the floppy drive cable is not hooked up to the pins on the floppy drive correctly. In other words, the side of the cable with the red stripe should be reversed from the position you have it in now. The red stripe goes to pin 1 on both the floppy drive and the motherboard connector. In my experience, it looks backwards from the way the hard drives have their cables hooked up; that is to say that Pin 1 on my floppy drive is not on the same side as Pin 1 on my hard drives. So, try reversing the cable on the floppy drive so that the red stripe is on the other side of the connector.
