Just got a celey 566 and for some reason can't get the thing to do anything when I plug it into the motherboard. I think the brand of mobo is a microstar though I'm not 100% sure.. So give me some things to try please.... It was running at 350 mhz on a 100 mhz fsb.

Things that we've tried. Setting the voltage on the MSI slot key to 1.5 and that's about it.. the manuel on the mobo doesn't help that much with setting things for the cpu.. so anyone out there with the same mobo that has conquered this battle?

On www.msicomputer.com on the BIOS upgrade page there is a note about compatibility with the Coppermine core chips. Basiclly it says if there is a blue sticker with a "c" on the Winbond chip you will be ok. I have not seen a 6119 with the sticker yet, but I have seen 4 (one is mine) without the sticker and NONE work with the coppermine core CPU's.
